PLAYING GOD

a couple walks into a fertility clinic one afternoon,the nurse asks them "how would you like your baby? average Joe or superman?"the couple replies"I would like my child to be a boy 6 foot 3 214 pounds with the body and genetic potential of a Olympic athlete!!!"the husband replies.the wife replies"I want my son to have the mind of Einstein,the talent of Beethoven,the creative genius of Picasso,and the literary touch of mark twain!!!"the nurse replies "o.k no problem."welcome to the world of designer babies.genetically altered children,welcome to a world where anything that you want can be yours...if you have the money of course.how would you design your baby?what attributes would you give?what imperfections would you take away,in your efforts to create the perfect child?and must important of all who are you to play in the sand box of GOD?what makes you think you have the WISDOM to play with building blocks of LIFE?I wonder what is to come out of this Pandora'sbox of genetic engineering?what will be the price to pay for designing these babies,what will be the price to pay for genetically altering human beings to please the hearts of men?what will be the price to pay for cloning animals and ultimately cloning humans?even now somewhere on this earth you can bet that a human being is already being cloned.if it hasn't already been done in the past you bet your life it's being done now.what will the price be?no one ever thinks about that.what will be the price?Einstein discovered that energy equals mass and that by splitting the atom you can create tremendous amounts of energy, enough to power the world.The military discovered that you could use that same info and create a bomb that could make the world bow down.now we live in the shadow of nuclear terrorism wondering when.so what is the price going to be?Tesla invented the power grid making it possible for us to live in comfort Ford invented the car turning us into a four wheel nation that love our automobiles all most as much as we love our families.now we stand in the middle of climate change having to figure out how we can stop global warming before we the human race becomes extinct.so what will the price be?right now over in europe scientist are working on a machine that will actually create a black hole on the surface of the earth.CERN thats what they call themselves.cern is trying to recreate the big bang and is searching for the GOD PARTICLE the missing atom that turns energy into mass.NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT A BLACKHOLE IS THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN THE UNIVERSE AND WOULD DESTROY THE EARTH IN A MATTER OF MINUTES IF NOT SECONDS!but of course a black hole can be contolled by man.all it takes is one mistake.just one.thats all.just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should.some knowledge is not meant for mankind.somethings are not meant for man to know so please stop...STOP PLAYING GOD.in your quest to know everything you just might kill us all.
